dad left yesterday

sad, but I"m sure he is ready to get back to routine.... luckily he only had stomach troubles one day so he really could enjoy the vacation...

Its always so great to see him and how the children interact with him.

I got punchie....

for challenge 4 at a muse a palooza.... this weeks challenge was to play with our punches....

I love using punches to make flowers, using material or felt or pattern papers and forming petals, rounding edges, adding texture to the center of a sticker... had lots of fun... thanks a muse for the fantastik challenge!!!!!!!!

Pattern paper is 7 gypsies and Scenic Route, stickers are Jenni Bowlin and stamps are (of course) a muse!

had an amazing time....

this weekend....
Saturday we went to a local farm that has been running and still "takes place" in the 17oo's with period costumes, etc.
They had a sheep shearing event and we watched the ewes get haircuts.. lol Ryan and Mia (both with sensory issues and don't allow haircuts themselves... were not impressed) but the rest of us loved it and the girls (Naomi and ERin got to hold a 3 week old angora bunny... precious)
Victoria and I cracked up at the bleating sheep... they curled their tongues and said baaaaa so loud... all the grown ups were hysterical!

Sunday I went to lss Right at Home Scrapbooking to take a class with my favorite scrappers of all time.... Angelia Wiggington. She is so darling... so super talented and as nice in real life as she is online....
I really think that if we lived closer, I would be friends with her... I loved the little tag book she taught us....
I"m on the laptop tonight so I'll post pics of everything tomorrow....
Getting excited for my dads visit.. tomorrow.... Yeah!!!!!!!!! can't wait to see him. Having company is like taking a mini vacation too!
SEe ya... and hopefully I'll get details of the next A muse challenge looking forward to that... may have to buy some new stamps to get motivated... if I could find em! lol

we had alittle party with Daisy girl scouts saturday... its naomi's birthday!
Girls are so cute and growing up in front of our eyes...

National Scrapbook Day and watching Martha STewart every day to see the winners of her scrapbooking contest... so happy for Tuesdays winner , my friend from ScrapGal and supa talented... Lisa Pace... she was so cute on the phone ! Miss those Texas accents!













Been feeling pretty good ... weather is great.... house is clean... we have been walking for 1/2 a day every day (jon and I) when the kiddos are in school... very nice to just have that time and we have fun peeking at fences, landscaping etc... gets us talking...

I had another two cards picked up for publication... very excited... for the September CARDS magazine... such an awesome mag...

Spring has arrived....

Got this baby in the mail yesterday... life is good....I never realized how dependent I am on my camera!
