Tonight Harry POtter and Tom Brady will be in the house... we got a practice run at Spooky Zoo Sunday so I was able to grab a few pics of her practicing her spells!

Getty will not tolerate any costume but she does enjoy meeting new people at the door!

Eat lots of candy but save the Almond joys for me please!

Morticia Adams candy tin

another of my projects for Halloween... I did this for the final entry (even though Im expelled, Im still playing along) for the Bad Girls kits Top Designer contest... I love to alter things...
Made a little spooky treat container out of a thin wood box... covered it with mod podge, pattern papers, lots and lots of fun trims and inked it up pretty good! lol
I kept thinking of Morticia from Adams family as I was making this... can you see it in her house? lol

Boo to you

with a week from all Hallows eve... I thought I would share a new Halloween project here every day til Halloween...

Here is my favorite thing I made ths year.... Its a Hybrid project... a few digi things... (kit by Jennifer Pebbles called October Orange avail at 2 peas) as well as a few random notebook papers, with a mix of scrapbook supplies and glass silver glitter for a vintage looking sign for my window....

a week in my life

album is finished... what surprised me was how inspiring it was to gather, collect,photograph and jot notes all week... so many more page ideas from this... Loving the idea that no matter what goes on in our lives, we all have important stories to tell...

I chose my favorite color scheme of the moment... very us as a family too... kept my pictures in black and white for unity and my style of handwritten, jotted note style journaling, etc...

After completing it, I have gone back and wrote more stories from the week included in a envelope /memorabilia pocket...

Its been a while since I did one... but here it is:

haven't had much to say lately...

so I've been kinda "blog" quiet... hee hee...;)

ITs cold here baby!!!! I love Fall in New England... so crisp and fresh... got out the soft blanket and the fuzzy socks... Im a nerd... but I love comfy things!

Here is my entry to the "expelled students" round of Top Designer.. rofl.. so cute.. they let us play along even though we were eliminated... I took advantage of the challenge since i love love me some embellishing and accessorizing... so this was fun

Hump day WEd... and OCT 1

usually WEd are a bit boring... and I do have a ton of chores to do ... bleh! but it is October the first... and the calendar is looking more exciting... Halloween, parties, fall festivals, etc... to add to the list!!!

I did a layout with some stuff from Scrap IN Styles sept kit... Oh thats right... October the first also means NEW ideas... NEW kits... at all my favorite sites!!

Oh and the sun is out... a first in three days!!!
