SEntiment is from HEart Print Sentiments set and I inked the cardstock with the Vintage system... cardstock, buttons and ribbon is Paper Trey Ink

I am so excited to be participating in this blog hop!! It is my first one...
For this months challenge, we were to create a card inspired by autumn, either colors, texture etc.

I love Autumn so much... For this card, I used burlap frayed at the edges of course, with stamps from two of my favorite sets. The sentiment and flowers are from Autumn Abundance and the basket is from the Vintage Baskets set
I also used Paper Treys vintage touch system inks in both chamomile and chai for distressing.

some twine and textured cardstock finished off this autumn card!

I cannot believe that its already mid August!! I know I say this every month but some just seem to move so much faster than the rest...

Not much going on in the Faucher household ... I am looking forward to getting back into a routine with school and having some me time to create... its hard doing this with chicken littles around! ;)

Here is my take on altered playing cards with a childhood theme... and yes, these are my childhood photos...
I had fun painting them, and adding some fun vintagey goodies to accent them... Most of it is just junk that was lying around my scrap desk!! Several of these trinkets were in the July The Girls Loft kit

The August kit just went up on the blog too.. very fun and summery!!
Have a good weekend... I am lazily hanging around and possibly creating in the air conditioning!
