Beach Bliss

It is supposed to be in the upper 80's today. Even though the number may seem small (for all my Texas, Arizona and Florida friends) lol.... believe me, 88 in New England after factoring the humidity is HOT but we are very excited for summer.... and finishing up at Primrose Hill (Erin will attend a new elementary school in the fall) and new beginnings.. Ryan attends his first summer camp!!
Lots to look forward too..
I got to play with this line from Bo Bunny called Paradise... for my May Design team work. I loved the distressed feel and the contrast of the complimentary blue /orange color scheme... so pretty!
I also added some Pink Paislee and Fancy Pants newest goodies.. tape, ribbons, and accents.
In the Seaside girls layout.. .I hand cut an S and added some "sand" from MUD Puddles... that stuff is amazing.. sticks great and doesnt get all over the place... I picked it up at the store . Fun stuff and now I am ready for summer... how about you?

at the shore....

okay, not really... but I did complete a mini album for Right At Home Scrapbooking. My design team goodies this month included these amazingly warm and complimentary papers from Bo Bunny.
I had some various pictures of our times at the beach. Living in a Coastal community ensures that you always have a ton of excessive "beach" type pictures.
I found some of my favorite quotes about the seas and added them to create this cute little album.
I loved how the chipboard "flaps" opened up... the album is cut from the store...die cutting machine. They have a template up there and can create an album for you that you can assemble yourself.... so fun.. and so many possibilities!!

Makes me want to head to the shore now.... mai tai anyone??? ;)

more cuteLlittle Shoebox

I created another two layouts using this darling collection from My Little Shoebox. I actually combined  a few of their Spring 010 collections with a few products of theirs I had from the past... some letter stickers etc...
I love how it coordinated with some new Dear Lizzy brads and flowers too... a great soft combo!!

My Little Shoebox

has the cutest little papers. I had fun using this line from them that was released Spring 2010 called Flying High... the circle paper is from Lil Critters line... so cute... all their stuff goes great together!!
I loved these pics of Erin dancing in the rain... wish I had this positive outlook .. she is always ready for anything !
I used some of my scraps to create this little bird house. First I painted this little wood bird house with white acrylic paint .

Then added some fun pattern papers....

and hand cut some little flowers and a cute birdie from the pattern paper sheet... Cheep Cheep! lol
added some things behind it (clouds and another bird peeking...) I also added a scallop border under the roof
..very easy and cute... this will hang in my kitchen to make me smile.. Happy Sunday everyone!

Happy Mothers Day

and all that jazz... lol
Usually, mothers day's for me consist of laundry, cleaning, running around etc... no different than any other day lol but since Erin has grown more I notice her wanting to pamper me, encourages Jon to go out and "get" me something lol I always enjoy the handmade gifts.. .only if you are a mother do you truly appreciate the poems, sweet little handwriting and thought that goes into creating something and "hoping" with all their heart that you just love it!! Its very sweet and I cherish those gifts most!
I had done this page recently... its a bit "real" but since Mothers day (for most of us is....) I thought I would share this today...
Hope all you mommies..... have a wonderful day, whether you get the whole day to play, or whether you have to work... take a few moments to yourself to enjoy and be thankful for the greatest job in the world.

Peace,
kimo
