Watercolor techniques

Watercolor techniques are all the rage right now. Here is another card I am sharing for the Watercolor Blog Hop hosted by Pretty Pink Posh. There are some amazing cards being shared. Hope you check it out!

My card starts with lots of layered papers. Some washi tape and letter stickers for the sentiment.
The floral image is from W plus 9 and was colored in using Kuretake Zig Clean Color Brush markers and Akashi Ya Sai watercolor markers. Both sets of markers are rich hues that activate with water and also blend well with other colors ( with or without water)
There are 20 colors of the Sai markers and over 80 of the Zig ones... So much fun blending these and getting the boldness of the pigment with the easily controlled brush tips!

Here is another card I created using the same markers. Same stamp image but a different set of colors .
Check out the blog at Pretty Pink Posh to see more watercolor ideas!
