Papertrey Ink anniversary Day 7 Metallics challenge

Here is a card using only neutrals and metallics. I really didn't have any metallic inks or powders so I used glittered gold embossing powder to create a fun background. Hearts are from Heart to Heart Mini set 3

Sentiment is from Think Big Sentiments 24
I added a chipboard accent/feather from American Crafts ... sequins from Studio Calico and glitter dots are from MME.

Blue Skies Ombre card challenge Day 8

Today we are challenged to create a ombre card with the color blue.
I created a ombre background using Scattered Showers addition stamp set with a rainy ombre background effect.
I also used some dual tone stamping and some ombre stamping on the sun and two tone clouds.

Hopefully these bright colors will cheer up even the gloomiest!

Is to pick a color and sketch recipe from their generous and inspiring Inspiration Cards they offer each month that you can find on Nichole's blog here

I used this color recipe

and created this card

and then I did this card using this sketch as inspiration

Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary Day two : Maile Belles inspiration

One of their talented designers is back with the team and we cannot be more excited! In order to celebrate her honor, we have been challenged to find one of her pieces that inspired us and create a card/project based on it. You can check out her amazing projects over at her blog here
I love this card she created

Even though I do not own this coverplate , I tried to recreate the look using the Victorian Lace border die and layering it around my card. Flower stamps are from Friends til the End stamp set
I also loved this color scheme so much and had to add this sheet of pattern paper and letter stickers from recent Studio Calico kits.
Thanks for the inspiration Maile!

Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary day 3: Bagged and Tagged

For this challenge, we were to create a handmade tag for a bag . I chose this regular tag cut out of cardstock and added a leftover (the negative of the Wonderful Words Hello die) and also created a little bag out of the Favor It Box 2 die . I thought this grey color was a better choice for my son and will be perfect for a little something for Valentines! Now to fill it with candy!
I had to add this little owl and sentiment to the tag from the Tiny Treats Valentine Stamp set.. they are so stinkin cute and I use them every year for my Valentines!

Papertrey Ink 8th anniversary : Day four Bitty Bouquet challenge

I am sharing a card today I created for the Papertrey Ink 8th anniversary challenge : Build a bouquet using multiple different floral images.
I used flowers from  Lace Bouquet, and All About You additions stamp sets... Inks are from Red Lead and Distress/Ranger. I also mixed various "greens and stems" using bits from various PaperTrey stamp sets.. The sentiment is from Giga Guide Lines stamp set.
A bright cheery card for this dismal winter days!
