Autumn tag Wed. Challenge SSS

I got the Stitched Leaves die's from Lawn Fawn and new I wanted to grunge them up for a more realistic look.

Icut them out of watercolor paper by Ranger and used Pumpkin Spice Lawn Fawn ink with Distress Inks over them to resemble the various colors we are finding in the color changing leaves.
I created a distressed and textured background panel and adhered it to a Kraft tag by Ranger.
The chipboard scroll is from Blue Fern Studios. The entire tag is painted over with my Wink of Stella gold brush pen..
This tag was created for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes" featuring Lawn Fawn.

Autumn Bag and thankful giveaway

It's no secret that I have developed a love of all things Fall now that I live in New England. I see first hand why the Pilgrims (my ancestors) decided to call this place home! I have been spending the cooler evenings in my studio creating up a storm in preparation for the long winter ahead! ;)
I recently went to Right At Home Scrapbooking and picked up Nicole's beautiful Fall and Holiday newly released stamp sets. Click on the link in the title if you are interested in seeing Nicole's darling stamps or the other wonderful products she carries in her store. I also created a little bag that holds a sweet sentiment stamp set that I will be giving my neighbor who is the most thoughtful friend. I think she will enjoy the simple stamps and get her back to making some cards with me this winter!

I stamped the leaves and used Distress ink to blend in. I stamped them onto Bristol board so the paper would warp a bit when reacted with the ink and water. I wanted a more rustic look for Fall.

I also made this place card that I may end up using on either a tag or another card... Haven't decided. The script font on the place card is from Reverse Confetti. You can find many gorgeous phrases and stamps there.
Is there a time of year that you do more creating??  Leave me a comment by October 31 letting me know if there is a time of year that makes you more crafty or creative...  I will pick a random winner Monday November 2 to win a couple Mini Distress Inks (brand new)  I am thankful for crafty friends and have some extra to share! I am enjoying this streak and hope it continues through the winter.

Too cute to spook

Lawn Fawn critters always make me think of this phrase!!
Here are a couple cards using Animal Party Holiday Additions stamps.
Lots of inking with Pumpkin Spice ink pad and polka patterns dark papers.
Both little guys have google eyes... I couldn't resist and added some of the accessories from holiday party to the Trick or Treat mini stamp set too!
Here is a close up so you can see the 'fuzzy' (glitter fibers) added on the border, his glasses, bat wings etc. I have no idea where I got this stuff from but it's perfect for Halloween.
BOO!!!

Reverse Confetti

Playing along with the Reverse Confetti sketch to try for October.

I couldn't wait to stamp this little lion from the Leapin Lions stamp set. He is so cute sitting on his little step.
I used a ombré effect in inking through the stencil for the background using Distress Inks and a sponge tool. I Thought it looked like light shining around him!
The  sentiment is from the Shine Bright stamp is inked in Memento, Copics and Distress inks. I layered tags and finished it with some fun color coordinating ribbons and some sequins.

You can find out details about the sketch and awesome Reverse Confetti products here

Colorful friends card

I had fun creating this little card using Mama Elephant stamps (out on a stroll).
I colored the images in copics and adhered them to a card front with a weathered inky background.
A super simple card to add to my stash.
